Patton Engineering were proud to be involved in the redevelopment of McLean Park providing the structural steel, Abrasive blasting and painting of the high performance coating for the construction of the new Graeme Lowe Grandstand.

This stand replaces the old McKenzie stand.

The project commenced in September 2008, with Patton’s involvement running for approx 16 weeks.

The grandstand required approx 220 tonne of steel, including fabricated beams.

Mr. Brad Patton Manager of Hawkes Bay Sandblast said the contract went extremely well. The coatings system provided to us by Altex Coatings was so easy to apply some days we were applying the three coat system in a day.
