Shop Supervisor - Tauranga

Altex Coatings Limited, a Resene Group Company, has a vacancy for a self motivated person to work in our Paint Shop.

Altex is one of the largest New Zealand manufacturers of industrial and marine coatings under the Carboline and Altex Yacht and Boat brands. For further information on our company visit www.altexcoatings.co.nz

Key duties include day to day operations of the shop, stock control, staff supervision and training, customer services and advice.

This full time position can be a fast paced and often busy role, so candidates need to be able to multitask, enjoy a challenge and be physically fit as some heavy lifting may be required.

The successful person will possess the following attributes:

• Outstanding customer care
   
• Previous retail experience would be an advantage
   
• Computer literate with good keyboard skills
   
• Able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
   
• Have a practical approach to problem solving
   
• A solution driven team player with a positive and ‘can do’ attitude
   
• Current drivers licence
